Level 7 Diploma: Graduate Feedback
Despite celebrating 7 Years of Level 7, we are not resting on our laurels here at Harley Academy.
We continually review the course content and overall trainee experience for the Level 7 Diploma in Botox & Dermal Fillers.
You can find out more about this in the video at the end of this article, from our founder and CEO – creator of the original Level 7 in Injectables – Dr Tristan Mehta.
Listening to student and graduate feedback and having our medical advisory board review all the latest aesthetic medicine studies, puts us in a solid position. It allows us to ensure our offering meets the latest and highest standards in medical aesthetics.
We are known for our pioneering and meticulous approach to safe practice of injectables. Additionally, we pride ourselves on having innovative, yet easy-to-use eLearning and one-to-one mentoring conducted by true aesthetics specialists. We believe this mix makes both the theoretical and practical aspects of your Level 7 Diploma training an engaging educational experience.
But we would say that… so let’s hear from some of our Level 7 graduates…
Graduate survey
We recently undertook a Level 7 graduate survey to see how they found their experience and where we could continue to improve.
Here is a snapshot of 7 facts we learned from our June 2022 questionnaire…
1. 93% said they did not feel confident injecting before taking the Level 7 course.
2. 100% said they did feel confident treating patients after completing their Level 7.
3. 93% said the one-to-one mentoring was their favourite part of the course. (7% enjoyed Observation Days the most.)
4. The most common words our graduates use to describe their Level 7 experience are “thorough”, “in-depth” and “hands-on”.
5. 100% are still practising aesthetic medicine.
6. 65% said they feel they have a better work/life balance since starting to practice aesthetics (we hope the other 35% get there soon – those first few years of establishing your business can be hard work!)
7. 100% of our Level 7 graduates said they would recommend the Level 7 Diploma in Botox & Dermal Fillers course to friends and colleagues.
Level 7 graduate testimonials
We have received some wonderful feedback, reviews and graduate testimonials over the years. Here are quotes from 7 of our favourites…
“…training at Harley Academy sets you apart from other practitioners…”
“I definitely think that training at Harley Academy sets you apart from other practitioners. I don’t think I would have been confident or competent to practice independently if I had just done a one-day foundation course. The best part for me was the mentoring…” – Gemma Marshall.
“…gave me enough hands on practice to start working independently…”
“It was the best decision I ever made. Level 7 not only helped me in improving my clinical knowledge but also gave me enough hands on practice to start working independently. I was offered a job even before completing Level 7. All mentors at Harley Academy are supportive and ready to guide. Highly recommend Harley Academy Level 7 Qualification.” – Dr Sidra Shakir.
“…my learning was comprehensive but also very personal…”
“I have immeasurable gratitude to the entire team from the expert trainers to the student support services for ensuring my learning was comprehensive but also very personal. Harley Academy builds a community among their students which enables professional relationships to form which in turn not only further supports our aesthetic journeys but also makes the career move less isolating. The support is endless, the training is to such a high standard and I am so proud to say I have trained at the BEST aesthetic training organisation in medical aesthetics.” – Shantel Noble (who has gone on to join our clinical faculty as a trainer, as well as establishing her own London aesthetics practice!)
“…supportive and adaptive to individual students’ strengths and weaknesses…”
“I completed my Level 7 with Harley Academy 3 years ago and have absolutely no regrets! The course content is comprehensive and gave me a great foundation to build ongoing learning on. The team are very supportive and adaptive to individual students’ strengths and weaknesses. There are a variety of trainers from different backgrounds, so you are always able to find someone you click with. The practical mentoring is second to none and gave me great confidence to start injecting straight away after qualifying. Overall it was a great educational investment in myself, worth every penny!” – Dr Lindsay.
“…mentors’ encouragement and support is so genuine and their clinical knowledge and experience is vast…”
“I am so glad I invested in this course; throughout the whole process the mentors and student support team have been so supportive. The mentors’ encouragement and support is so genuine and their clinical knowledge and experience is vast. Our clinic in North Devon is going from strength to strength and Harley Academy has given us the skills and knowledge to make it the success it is.” – Toni Pascoe-White.
“…Harley go above and beyond for their students…”
“Harley Academy have been incredibly supportive over the course of the Level 7 qualification. The tutors are personable and friendly, as well as knowledgeable. The mentors I have used have all been excellent, keen to aid my learning in any way they can. I feel Harley go above and beyond for their students. The small things that make a difference like boosting your confidence via social media and congratulating any successes you have makes you feel a valued part of the Harley team.
“…hard and highly academic…”
The course is hard and highly academic but with their support it’s entirely possible to be the safest and educated injector.” – Janine Lewis.
“…their high-standards and excellence extend from from the guys that answer the phones all the way to the CEO…”
“Harley Academy have provided me with a faultless learning environment all the way from a brilliant foundation day in aesthetic injectables to the multi-faceted experience that is the Level 7 Injectables for Aesthetic Medicine. It has been hard work and has pushed me without a doubt, however I felt supported all the way and had all my questions answered in a timely and comprehensive manner.
The mentors on the supervised practice and observed practice were excellent. I run my own clinic now and the experience of the Level 7 training has given me the experience to do this with confidence. I can wholeheartedly recommend Harley Academy and I intend to do further education and masterclasses with them, as I know that their high-standards and excellence extend from from the guys that answer the phones all the way to the CEO (who ran one of my observation days).
Reading the above sounds like a paid advert, but the course, although entirely doable, is very complex and the content was very new to me, and the support and form of teaching from Harley Academy is what got me through. Thoroughly recommended!!” – Adam Colston.
Our founder and CEO, Dr Tristan Mehta explains what makes Harley Academy unique, why he felt having a dedicated aesthetics training facility was important, and talks about his evolving vision for medical aesthetics education in the UK
